Goosehold™ School of Trades & Engineering

Goosehold Trades™

Learn how buildings, services and practical trades fit together through safe simulations, recognition challenges and Follow the Builder™.

Building

Foundations, walls, roofs, insulation, measuring and sequencing a build safely.

Plumbing

Recognise water systems, fixtures and common components through non-hazardous simulated jobs.

Electrical

Learn what electrical systems do, identify components and understand when only a qualified adult should act.

Carpentry & finishing

Explore timber, joinery, decorating, surfaces, tools and quality checks without dangerous real-world tasks.

Follow the Builder™

A guided trade simulation for learning and problem solving. Children are never instructed to perform hazardous construction, electrical, gas, height or power-tool work.

  1. Meet the customer and understand the simulated job.
  2. Choose the correct trade and identify the work area.
  3. Inspect the scene and spot the relevant components.
  4. Put the safe work sequence in the right order.
  5. Select suitable simulated materials and tools.
  6. Complete the virtual task and run a quality check.
  7. Explain what was done and which real jobs require a trained adult.
